P&ID (piping and instrumentation diagram/drawing) 개요

P&ID를 한글로는 공정배관계장도, 공정계기도 라고도 한다. 영어의 원래 이름은 piping and instrumentation drawing 이며 piping and instrumentation diagram으로도 불린다. 간단히 부를 때는 Process flow diagram 이라도고 불린다. 쉽게 말해 "유체 시스템이 어떻게 구성되었는가" (어떠한 파이프, 밸브, 탱크, 센서등이 어떻게 연결되었는가) 를 간단히 나타내주는 도면이다.

아래와 같이 ISO 10628 과 ISO 14617 표준에서 정의하는 기호들이 있긴하나 실무에서는 보는 사람이 알아보기만 하면 되니까 그리는 사람 마음대로인 경우도 있다 (특수한 부품의 경우는 보통 알아보기 쉽게 더 자세히 그린다).
